Qatar Institute for Speech and Hearing (QISH) was honored with the Kerala Entrepreneurs Club (KEC) Business Excellence Award 2022. The award was another feather in its cap. Since its inception in the year 2011, QISH has been a pioneer in the field of Special needs rehabilitation. With the support of 100+ dedicated and experienced multinational employees including 40 specialists, QISH group has been enlightening the lives of the special needs population by providing multidisciplinary services in a very friendly atmosphere that is equipped with a state-of-the-art facility, the latest therapy techniques, and innovative tools.
QISH was the first private medical center licensed and accredited by the Ministry of Public Health – Qatar. Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Behavior & Psychology services, Physiotherapy, Audiological services, Special Education programs, and Early intervention programs were some of the major services provided by the center. The focus of the center is to early identify the various developmental disorders and timely intervene in them.
Apart from providing quality rehabilitation services at the most affordable fees, the center also focuses on community awareness programs about the various disorders and their management on various platforms. QISH has been keen in observance of all the significant days related to Special Needs such as World Autism Awareness Day, World mental health day, World Down Syndrome Day, International Day of Persons with disability, World hearing day, etc. It also conducts various in-house educational seminars and workshops for parents, teachers, and the public.
The Autism Walkathon conducted by QISH every year is acclaimed by many for its uniqueness in driving people from different walks of life to gather at a pre-set designation and walking together chanting the slogan and making an oath holding hands for the acceptance of the autistic.
